Download the VLC media player for your operating system.
Install the player in the manner intended for your operating system.
After successful installation of the VLC player you will find a link to the VLC program on your desktop. You may have to create the shortcut manually.
On the MUSIC2BIZ homepage click on “Customer Account” in the upper navigation. A submenu will open.
Click on “Customer Login”. The login page will open.
Below the online music player you will find the stream URL.
Select the URL with a double-click.
Open a text file and copy all stream URLs of the music programs you want to play in the VLC player into this text file.
Save the file to your desktop for later.
Start the VLC-Player by double-clicking on the link on your desktop.
You can minimize the VLC window, because we do not need the video area.
Just move the VLC window from the bottom of the window to the top with the mouse.
Click on “Media” in the VLC menu. A submenu opens. Click here on “Open Network Stream”. An input field will appear…
Paste the stream URL from the cache into the input field with Ctrl+V.
Click Play in the bottom right corner of the input window.
Click on “View” in the VLC menu.
A submenu will appear. Click here on Playlist. A second window opens.
The displayed playlists are only shown for the current VLC player session.
Closing the player will delete the playlists (stream URLs) from this view.
Therefore, save your playlists (stream URLs) permanently before closing the player…
To save your playlists permanently in the VLC player, you need to copy them to the Media Library.
To do this, drag the playlist in the playlist window to the left to the menu item “Media Library” while holding down the left mouse button.
Then click on the menu item “Media Library”.
After you have copied the playlist to the Media Library, you can play it again from here at any time with the VLC player.
You only need to perform the copy operation once for all the playlists in your selection.
The VLC Player permanently saves your playlists in the Media Library.
Your MUSIC2BIZ music programs stored in the Media Library are displayed after clicking on “Media Library” in the left menu…
1. Press the Windows key + R key combination and enter “shell:startup” in the “Open” line.
2. A Windows Explorer window will open with the “Startup” folder of the currently logged on user.
Keep the left mouse button pressed and drag the desktop shortcut of the VLC Player into the Autostart folder.
Done! that’s it, from now on you can play the MUSIC2BIZ programs of your choice directly with the VLC-Player by clicking on the respective program name in the Media Library.
